Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the location right next to the NY Bus Transit Terminal on 40th Street was convenient for traveling, the noise levels at night made it hard to sleep. The rooms were a bit tired and could use a makeover, but they did have excellent facilities.
I was thrilled with my stay at the hotel! The location was superb, just a few blocks from Times Square with easy access to the subway, and there was a bus station right across the street. I got a fantastic upgrade as an SPG Gold Member and enjoyed the 1st Floor Bar, which was a lot of fun. The rooms were good, though not exceptional, and coming back to a clean and fresh room after a long day was so comforting. Lots of great food options nearby!
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although clean and spacious for a New York hotel, can be very noisy during the night, overlooking the Port Authority complex. The service had its highs with helpful and friendly breakfast staff but also had a downside with a staff member having a bad attitude when asked about early check-out and needing ice for my daughter's knees. The location, just across the street from the Port Authority Bus Terminal, was great for our needs but could be a bit noisy. The dining options were very basic, which was unexpected for the price, and the facilities were average.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms and incredibly friendly staff. The location was fantastic, close to Times Square and the Theater District. However, the neighborhood was a bit rough with some noise late at night. The dining experience offered a nice choice of breakfast options, and overall, it was a great value for the money.
Staying at this hotel in Manhattan was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were well-equipped, offering conveniences like an ethernet cable for laptops, a good selection of TV channels, and USB chargers on both sides of the bed. However, there were some issues with misinformation and lack of clarity on certain charges.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The location is excellent, close to Times Square, making it easy to navigate and explore Manhattan, and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional. However, the dining experience left much to be desired with lukewarm hot food served on paper plates. Nonetheless, being right by Times Square and having easy access to transportation were definite highlights.
The hotel had very nice and clean rooms, not too small, with air conditioning, a desk with an Ethernet cable for laptops, TV with a good selection of channels, and USB chargers on both sides of the bed. It honestly worked better for us since we had 2 bathrooms to get ready the next day. The service was really friendly and accommodating to all our needs, but could have communicated better about our late check-out request. The location was perfect, just two blocks from the Times Square area with easy subway access, although it's down a dark backstreet. The dining experience was simple but good, with a choice of delicious croissants, cereal, pastries, fruit, and a full hearty breakfast. The facilities were top-notch.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The spacious room was unexpectedly large and well-equipped, but the lack of a microwave or small fridge was a downside. The service was great overall, despite a hiccup with a denied late check-out notice and a concerning incident of missing items. The location had its perks but also some safety concerns. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with both positive and negative aspects. Overall, the facilities offered were satisfactory.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room was ready on time, but the noise level on level 9 was quite high. However, the rooms were clean, saving us from extra hassle with luggage. The service provided by the team, especially Evie, Prince, and Robert, was incredibly kind and accommodating, though there was an issue with overcharging that required follow-up. The location was convenient for exploring the city, with easy access to Times Square and various attractions, despite being near a busy station. The dining options were satisfactory yet seemed a bit overpriced. Overall, a decent stay with some highs and lows.
The hotel location is unbeatable, offering easy access to a variety of hotels and entertainment options while being a short walk from Times Square. The rooms, although small, were well-equipped and perfect for my stay, but the broken air conditioning and bathtub issue were drawbacks. Despite being fully booked, the service was exceptional, especially from Richard at the front desk, who went above and beyond. The dining options were limited, but a neighboring hotel offered a more appealing alternative. The facilities were clean, making the overall experience enjoyable.
The hotel room was comfortable but a bit small for 4 adults and had a marginally better view with an opening window. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient, but the customer service lacked attention to detail. The location was perfect, near everything, but a little sketchy. The dining options were plentiful with a great selection, but going to a neighboring hotel for breakfast was far more appealing. Overall, a good stay with some minor drawbacks.
